ITunes Match saves your iCloud music library - including songs you've imported from CDs - so you can play your collection on iPhone, other iOS devices and computers. ITunes Match also lets you listen to iTunes Radio without ads (see iTunes Radio). iTunes Match is a paid service.
Note: iTunes Match may not be available in all areas. See support.apple.com/kb/HT5085.
Subscribe to iTunes Match on iTunes on your computer. Choose Store> Turn On iTunes Match, and then click the "Subscribe" button.
When you subscribe, iTunes adds your music, playlists, and Genius Mixes collections to iCloud. For more information, see www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match.
Turn on iTunes Match. Go to Settings> Music. If you turn on iTunes Match, the synced music is removed from your iPhone.
Note: If the iTunes Store is turned on in the "Use Cellular Data For" section in Settings> Cellular, you may incur additional charges. See Consumption Information section.
Songs are transferred to the iPhone during playback. You can also download songs and albums manually - tap while browsing.
Note: When iTunes Match is turned on, downloaded music is automatically removed from iPhone because space is needed, and the oldest and least played songs are removed first. The "iCloud" icon () appears next to the removed songs and albums, indicating that the songs and albums are still available through iCloud but not stored on iPhone.
Remove the downloaded song. Swipe left and tap "Delete".
Only show music downloaded from iCloud. Go to Settings> Music, then turn off "Show All Music".
Remove your iPhone from your iTunes in the Cloud device list. In iTunes on your computer, select Store> View Account. Sign in, and then click Manage Devices in the iTunes in the Cloud section.
